Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
