Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things hath Power;- 1 Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving; 2 who created the seven heavens, one above the other. You cannot see any inconsistency in the creation of the Merciful. Return your gaze, do you see any crack! 3 Look twice (and keep on looking), your eyes will only become dull and tired. 4 We have adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and We made them a stoning for the satans, We have prepared the punishment of the Blaze for them. 5 Those who are bent on blaspheming against their Lord will have the punishment of Hell: an evil destination. 6 When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up, 7 and wellnigh bursts asunder with rage. As often as a troop is cast into it, its keepers ask them, 'Came there no warner to you?'; 8 And they will answer: "Surely; a warner came to us, but we denied him, and said: 'God did not send down any thing; you are greatly deluded, in fact.'" 9 And they shall say: Had we but listened or pondered, we should not have been among the inmates of the burning fire. 10 So they shall confess their sin. Far away they be, the fellows of the Blaze! 11 Surely those who fear their Lord in the Unseen -- there awaits them forgiveness and a great wage. 12 (Whether you) speak in secret or aloud, He knows the innermost of the chests. 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14
