The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
