Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
