The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
