Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 1 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death; and He has power over all things. 2 He is the First, the Last, the Manifest, and the Unseen and He knows all things. 3 It is He that created the heavens and the earth in six days then seated Himself upon the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth, and what comes forth from it, -- what comes down from heaven, and what goes up unto it. He is with you wherever you are; and God sees the things you do. 4 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and unto Him all matters are returned. 5 He causes the night to enter into the day and the day to enter into the night. He has knowledge of the thoughts of the innermost of the chests. 6 Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend of that whereof He hath made you trustees; and such of you as believe and spend (aright), theirs will be a great reward. 7 And what aileth you that ye believe not in Allah whereas the apostle is calling you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already taken your bond, if ye are going to be believers? 8 It is He who sends down clear verses to His worshiper, so that He brings you out of the darkness into the light. Indeed, Allah is the Gentle, the Most Merciful to you. 9 And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the Cause of Allah? And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Makkah) (with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all, Allah has promised the best (reward). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. 10
