Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And during the night - worship Him; and hallow Him the livelong night. 26 Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them. 27 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration. 28 This is a reminder. Let whoever wishes, take the right path to his Lord. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He maketh whomsoever He listeth to enter His mercy. And the wrong-doers! for them He hath gotten ready a torment afflective. 31
