Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 storming tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
