Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
