Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
