The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
