Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: 2 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 who taught by the Pen, 4 taught man what he did not know! 5 No! [But] indeed, man transgresses 6 Because he sees himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) seen him (i.e. Abu Jahl) who prevents, 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Have you seen if he was upon guidance 11 Or enjoins piety? 12 What do you think? Have you seen if he belies and turns away, 13 Does he not realize that God sees him? 14 Nay, but if he cease not We will seize him by the forelock - 15 A lying, sinning forelock. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
