The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 who are humble in their prayers; 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 who observe Zakah; 4 And those who of their private parts are guards. 5 Except from their wives and women slaves of old are free of blame, 6 whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] are truly transgressors; 7 And those who keep proper regard for their trusts and their pledges. 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 and then We cause him to remain as a drop of sperm in [the wombs] firm keeping, 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 After that you shall surely die, 15 Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then We cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely We are able to carry it away. 18 So with it We produced gardens of date-palms and grapes for you, in which is abundant fruit for you and you eat therefrom. 19 And created the tree that comes forth from Mount Sinai – that grows containing oil and curry for the eaters. 20 And verily in the cattle for you is a lesson. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are advantages many, and of them ye eat. 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22
