And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
