The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
