Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
