Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
