Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O CHILDREN of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and fulfil your promise unto Me, [whereupon] I shall fulfil My promise unto you; and of Me, of Me stand in awe! 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me. 41 Confound not the Truth with falsehood nor conceal it knowingly. 42 and be constant in prayer, and spend in charity, and bow down in prayer with all who thus bow down. 43 ۞ Will you bid others to piety, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book? Do you not understand? 44 And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit, 45 Who are conscious that they have to meet their Lord, and to Him they have to return. 46
