ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
