۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
