3/4 Hizb 52

And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 "Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah, then (both of you) cast him in the severe torment." 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
