۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
