Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
