The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they sat by it, 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
