3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
