Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 preferring the present life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
