The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
