Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the fetters and chains are on their necks, and they dragged 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 Enter ye the gates of Hell as abiders therein. Hapless is the abode of the stiff-necked. 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 We have told you the stories of some of Our Messengers whom We had sent before you and We have not told you the stories of some others. A Messenger is not supposed to show a miracle without the permission of God. When God's decree of punishment comes to pass, He will judge truthfully and the supporters of the falsehood will perish when God's decree of punishemnt comes to pass. 78
