The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 Abasing exalting. 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 and clustered bananas, 29 and extended shade, 30 and flowing water, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 and made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
