The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
