۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
