The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
