▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
