The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is wound up; 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
