Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 The honourable recorders. 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
