The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
