O Believers, seek help with fortitude and Salat, for Allah is with those who show fortitude. 153 And say not of those who are slain in God's cause, "They are dead": nay, they are alive, but you perceive it not. 154 We shall test you through fear, hunger, loss of life, property, and crops. (Muhammad), give glad news to the people who have patience 155 Who say, when a misfortune striketh them: Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning. 156 On such men are the blessings of God and His mercy, for they are indeed on the right path. 157 ۞ Safah and Marwah are the waymarks of Allah. Whoever performs the pilgrimage to the House or the visit, there shall be no guilt on him to circumambulate between both of them. And whoever volunteers good, Allah is Thankful, the Knower. 158 Indeed those who hide the clear proofs and the guidance which We sent down, after We made it clear to mankind in the Book – upon them is the curse of Allah and the curse of those who curse. 159 Save those that repent and amend, and make manifest the truth; these it is toward whom I relent. And I am the Relenting, the Merciful! 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving -- upon them shall rest the curse of God and the angels, and of men altogether, 161 They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot). 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
