And recite to them the news of Ibrahim. 69 When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They replied: "We worship idols and are devoted to them." 71 (Abraham) asked: "Do they hear when you call them? 72 "Or do you good or harm?" 73 They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so." 74 He said: 'Have you considered what you worship, 75 you and your fathers, the elders? 76 Verily they are an enemy unto me, save the Lord of the worlds. 77 "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 He who gives me food and drink; 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me, 80 Who will cause me to die and then will again restore me to life; 81 and who I am eager shall forgive me my offence on the Day of Doom. 82 My Lord, give me judgment, and join me with the righteous. 83 and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me, 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight, 85 and forgive my father for he is among those who strayed, 86 And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; 87 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 But to him who comes to God with a tranquil heart." 89 And Paradise shall be brought forward for the godfearing, 90 And the Fierce Fire shall be made apparent unto the seduced ones. 91 And it will be said to them: "Where are those (the false gods whom you used to set up as rivals with Allah) that you used to worship 92 “Instead of Allah? Will they help you or retaliate?” 93 Then they will be thrown headlong into Hell, both they and the misguided ones, 94 Together with the hordes of Iblis. 95 And they will say, and they will be quarrelling in it: 96 By Allah, we were truly in a manifest error, 97 When we equalled you with the Lord of the worlds. 98 “And none misled us but the guilty.” 99 So none we have as intercessors. 100 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). 101 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " 102 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 103 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
