Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with clusters of dates 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
