Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
