So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors. 31 and indeed, We chose them knowingly above all other people, 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those afore them? We destroyed them; verily they were culprits. 37 For [thus it is:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in mere idle play: 38 We did not create them except in Truth. But most of them do not know. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42
