No, by the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
