▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
