Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret, 52 and [how,] out of Our grace, We granted unto him his brother Aaron, to be a prophet [by his side]. 53 And mention in the Book Ishmael; he was true to his promise, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book, Idris; he too was of the truth and a Prophet, 56 whom We exalted onto a lofty station. 57 These are whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets from among the seed of Adam and of those whom We bore with Noah; the descendants ofAbraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chose. For when the verses of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition, 59 Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught. 60 Gardens Everlasting, which the Compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen, unseen; verily His promise is ever to be fulfilled. 61 They will hear no vain talk there, but only salutations of peace, and they will have their sustenance morning and evening." 62 That is Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who are godfearing. 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
