Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. 116 In stead of Him, they pray not except to female beings; they pray not except to a rebel Satan accursed by God. 117 The one whom Allah has cursed; and the devil said, “I swear, I will certainly take an appointed portion of Your bondmen,” – 118 And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss. 119 The devil promises them and arouses desires in them; and the devil does not give them promises except of deceit. 120 For such the abode is only Hell from which they will find no escape. 121 But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's? 122 It is neither dependent on your wishes, nor the wishes of the people of the Book, (but) whosoever does ill will be punished for it, and will find no protector or friend apart from God; 123 And whosoever worketh of righteous works, male or female, and is a believer, these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged a speck. 124 And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allah (i.e. follows Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism); and he is a Muhsin (a good-doer - see V. 2:112). And follows the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone). And Allah did take Ibrahim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend). 125 Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Allah ever surroundeth all things. 126
