And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 About what they used to do. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 We are surely sufficient to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
