۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
