We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
