The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The All-merciful 1 Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him). 2 He created man 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 (Transgress not in the Balance, 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 And grain chaffed and other food. 12 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 13 He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, 14 and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 18 He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
