The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
